Amélie Poirier est une artiste en arts visuels née en France, vivant et travaillant entre Montréal et Mont-Saint-Hilaire. Autodidacte depuis 2015, elle développe une pratique en peinture abstraite guidée par l’intuition, le geste et la matière.

À la croisée de l’expressionnisme abstrait et du minimalisme, son travail explore la mémoire et les territoires intérieurs. À travers des œuvres réalisées sur toile et sur bois, elle crée des fragments de paysages et des cartographies imaginaires, invitant le regard à contempler l’invisible et à voyager dans des espaces sensibles et ouverts.

Son travail a été présenté en France et au Canada, notamment au Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal, à la Galerie MainLine, au Belgo (Espace 230) et lors de l’encan annuel du Festival des films sur l’art de Montréal (FIFA).

Amélie Poirier is a French-born visual artist living and working between Montreal and Mont-Saint-Hilaire. Self-taught since 2015, she develops an abstract intuitive painting practice guided by gesture, and materiality.

At the intersection of abstract expressionism and minimalism, her work explores memory and inner territories. Through paintings created on canvas and wood, she creates fragments of imaginary landscapes and cartographies, inviting viewers to contemplate the invisible and to travel through open, sensitive spaces.

Her work has been exhibited in France and Canada, notably at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, MainLine Gallery, Belgo (Espace 230), and as part of the annual auction of the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA).
